The ultimate outcome of hyper-egalitarian collectivist social justice secular humanist progressivism, enfolded into law (not into natural law) by the ultimate social re-engineering activist lawless Supreme Court: “You are born with the right to have someone else pay for all of your medical expenses.” (Yesterday) Today: “God ordained marriage is a coercive fable and whatever situational / existential / personal / transcient idea of love you have (3 adults, etc.), it must be the determinant of something now invalidly called marriage.” Watch the percentage of Americans with a sexually transmitted disease double, from 1 in 5 to 2 in 5 (40%). Watch the divorce rate escalate from 50% to 75%. Watch the sociopathy from unfathered children multiply. Watch our society’s disintegration accelerate. Watch government increasingly become all-controlling.
“Every time we try to open a box or container to distribute Bibles, we get ‘attacked’ by people in their eagerness to get a copy,” the director of a locally-based ministry said. “We have never had a problem giving them away.”
Nominal members of historic churches are seeking the Bible, as are Yazidis and Sunni and Shia Muslims. Yazidis practice a blend of Christian, Islamic and Zoroastrian rituals.
“The religious nature of the region makes faith matters of great interest and an important part of their lives, and the search for the truth has become one of the priorities of the Muslims,” he said, adding that ISIS militants’ religiously motivated murders of civilians have provided a golden opportunity to present the “loving and peaceful Christ.”
I suspect most Americans who learned the story of race-morphing Rachel Dolezal were shocked. I wasn’t. See, I worked at the Civil Rights Division at the Justice Department where Dolezal’s type of race-guilt psychosis could be found in diluted degrees.
First, for those who don’t know the story of local NAACP head Rachel Dolezal, it goes like this: young white woman lives life in black costume, sows racial grievance as NAACP official. As one story put it:
Ruthanne and Larry Dolezal said their daughter has always identified with the African American culture and had black siblings who were adopted. They said she went to school in Mississippi and was part of a primarily African American community.
The Dolezals said Rachel married and later divorced a black man. They said after the divorce in 2004 Rachel began identifying differently. She started claiming to be partially African American and the daughter of bi-racial parents. They said they have noticed her change in physical appearance but do not know how she did so.
If you are shocked by this story, don’t be. Dolezal had a sort of racial psychosis that you can see in lesser degrees all throughout modern America, particularly in the modern civil rights movement.
At the Justice Department, I encountered a white Italian who racially identified as a Sioux. This person adopted the appearance of a native American and racially identified as Indian. Pictures of Sitting Bull adorned the office. If there was any Sioux blood, it was a tiny fraction. But identification with a racial minority group has its privileges, especially at the Civil Rights Division at the DOJ. This wasn’t the only example.
So when I heard the outlandish story of Rachel Dolezal, it wasn’t so outlandish to me. The racial left is today built around racial division, race hatred, and racial guilt. It is full of people who see the world through an angry racial lens.
The civil rights movement once held the moral high ground by treating people without regard to skin color.
Now the civil rights movement exists to divide Americans by race. It is no accident that Rachel Dolezal would gravitate to an organization like the NAACP.
But none of this should surprise us anymore, after all, a United States senator from Massachusetts did essentially the same thing.
Race is the fuel that runs the modern progressive agenda. It’s 24-7 race. Race is the weapon for the great transformation, for plunking Section 8 housing in wealthy residential areas, for undermining law enforcement and for transforming election laws.
It’s time that Americans start shaming those who would divide us.
The whole “social construct” thing is confusing.
When a theorist says gender is “socially constructed,” do they mean gender literally does not exist in nature – that it’s just an idea and some labels that society applies to people for its own reasons?
Or do they mean that gender really does exist in nature but society assigns the wrong labels to people for its own reasons?
Is a man who comes out as gay just choosing an arbitrary identity? Or is he declaring who he “really is?”
How would those principles apply to race? If race is a social construct, why can’t someone with white skin and no African ancestry choose to be black? If race is a real and fundamental part of a person’s identity, why have some black people, historically, identified themselves as white?
If a white person grows up among black people, identifies with them, and completely absorbs their culture, is skin color an automatic disqualifier of “blackness?” That wouldn’t necessarily have anything to do with the notion of social construction – it could just be the way they were raised.
Considering that she lives in an area with so few black people, her lies may have gone unnoticed had not Rachel been her own worse enemy. She doubled down on victim status and began to claim she and her adopted siblings had been physically abused by their parents. She also sued her parents, though I don’t know the grounds.
I suspect her parents acted to damage her credibility before she damaged theirs.
|Hi Louisiana Friend!
With your help, Louisiana could become the fifth state to apply for an Article V Convention to propose amendments to the U.S. Constitution, which will dramatically restrain the out-of-control executive, legislative and judicial branches of central government and re-align them with the Constitution.
A few weeks ago, the Louisiana House passed HCR 2, the Convention of States Project Article V application that would let Louisiana join the other states that are going to use the founders’ tool to rein in our out of control federal government.
Since that time we have run into some unexpected trouble in the Senate.
While we are attempting to restore our God-given rights and our Constitution, some are looking to sabotage those efforts.
Some Senate Democrats, including Senator Jean-Paul Morrell, have successfully pressured the Senate leadership to assign HCR2 to the wrong committee in order to kill the bill.
By the rules of the Louisiana Senate our resolution is supposed to be assigned to Senate and Governmental Affairs. Instead, HCR2 has been assigned to Judiciary B; a committee deliberately designed to kill legislation Senate Democrats do not like.
Why are they doing this? Because they want to keep the status quo of an out of control Washington D.C. This is a pathetic attempt by some Senate Democrats to change the rules in the middle of the process.
This is why we need YOU right now to call AND email YOUR SENATOR and tell them you want the Senate to PASS HCR2.
Some ideas for how to communicate with your Senator: Hi, my name is [your name] and I am a constituent of Senator [name]. I would like Senator [name] to urge the rest of the Senate to pass HCR2, the Convention of States resolution. It has been intentionally assigned to the wrong committee by some members of the Senate in order to make sure the bill does not pass. An Article V Convention of States is vital to restoring limited constitutional government at the federal level and I urge Senator [name] to take a stand against the corruption that is taking place in the Louisiana Senate and to take a stand for the U.S. Constitution and to urge the Senate pass HCR2.
Here is a letter I just finished today, to summarize the incredible significance of asking our state legislators to apply for an Article V Convention.
Thank you for supporting this movement to restore Constitutionalism, sponsored by the Citizens for Self Government.
Let me know if you have any questions and if you’d like an extensive list of Article V videos and resources available online (all with hyperlinks) or a list of rebuttals to supposed arguments against COS.
I’d love to hear from you!
Thank you so much, and God bless you!
