Jimmy Carter praised the Palestinians for their “democratically” elected Hamas officials into parliamentary majority status, led by Khaled Mashaal (pictured). He, Clinton and the State Department coddled Arafat for many years, despite his complicity with the suicide terrorists and murder of American Ambassador Cleo Noel! Carter proves that, at best, he’s a knee jerk advocate for the underdog (a Liberal propenensity, evidence notwithstanding), and at worst, a sympathizer with terrorism, on page 213 of his book, Palestine: Peace, Not Apartheid, “…it is imperative, that the general Arab community and all significant Palestinian groups make it clear that they will end the suicide bombings and other acts of terrorism when international laws and the ultimate goals of the Roadmap for Peace are accepted by Israel.
